advent.

it's december 1!  wh-wh-wh-what?!?!  yes, it's true.  the holiday season is really upon us.  just 24 teeny tiny little days til christmas.  i admit to sometimes getting stressed out here and there by this season because of all i try to do during it, but i also love-love-love this month.  i even embrace the nuttiness (ok, not always, but usually!).

what better way to countdown just how few days we have left to get it alllll done (kidding!) than with a lovely advent calendar?!

do you have an advent calendar?  i still use the one my dad brought back from germany for my sister and me way back when.  i'm sure it will get replaced some day (like years into the future when kids are in the mix), but for now, it does the trick.
