happy st. patrick's day, one and all! whether you're irish or not (i happen to be lucky enough to be part), i hope you enjoy this oh-so-jolly holiday! today i'm going to share a little eye candy from my family's trip to ireland in august 2008. i find myself a little obsessed with this country. it's really one of the most beautiful places i've ever experienced - it may rain a lot, but the result is the greenest greens you've ever seen naturally. add on incredibly friendly people and good food and beer and i'm ready to move in. oh hey, anyone over there want to give me a job?!

"you know what, best feckin' thing about this country, the rain, you know why? cause if the sun
was always feckin' shiny every bastard would be coming here ... this way, it keeps most of them away
except for the ones who really want to come, like, and anyway i think it's more interesting,
isn't it, when every day isn't the feckin' same?"
