if you have been following this blog for any period of time you can probably guess that i have a teeny tiny obsession with alice in wonderland.  you'd also likely not be surprised to learn that i adore this series of photographs entitled alice in waterland.

little miss draper.

my heart went all aflutter last week when i opened my google reader to find that the coveteur had featured kiernan shipka - known to beloved fans as sally draper of mad men.  it's amazing how quickly she grew from one of my most hated characters to one of my absolute favorites.  she stole a good many scenes last season, and i can't wait to see what sally does next (for the millionth time: whyyyy do we have to wait until winter 2012 for a new season?!  this is torture!).  how fabulous that her onscreen world has influenced her off-screen one.  take a peek.

can i just say how much i adore that she owns the mad men barbies?!  that is just too precious for words.

i am in love with the warped perspective that looking through soap bubbles can achieve.  the fact that the imagery on the other side is a beautiful fjord in norway doesn't exactly hurt either.

my cousin's wedding weekend, which took us to new york and allowed us a long weekend with extended family.  we don't get enough time with them!

girl of the moment: june.

will these girls one day become legends?  maybe.  and i hope so.  but for now, they find themselves in the role of ingénue.

little sister to dakota.  a budding fashionista.  and now a movie star in her own right.  she looks better (read: not awkward) than any tween has a right to.  and i just adore her.

as i mentioned on monday, one of my bestest friends had her bridal shower over the weekend.  as the first of my closest friends to get married, this is really exciting for us, and so i must share a bit with you all!
