will these girls one day become legends? maybe. and i hope so. but for now, they find themselves in the role of ingénue.

july's girl of the moment: emma watson.

i've expressed my love for miss emma before, and while i don't think she's going anywhere anytime soon, we must celebrate her while she's starring in the final harry potter (i'll get over it eventually, i swear!).  emma just makes me smile.  she is a strong, independent, smart young woman who has brought to life one of my absolute favorite literary characters (who also happens to be strong, independent, and smart - go figure!).  she is the stuff role models are made of.  

of course, she's also stunningly beautiful.

 

and how about a collective "aw" for her oscar de la renta look at the london premiere?
