summer fridays: celebrating america.

welcome back to my new summer fridays series, where we discuss some favorite things about summertime.  
 
the 4th of july weekend has to be my absolute favorite part of summer.  usually spent at the family cottage in northern michigan with lots of boating, eating, margarita-sipping, america-loving and laughing, it's pretty much my happy place.  the tradition continues this year - just an 8 hour drive with c standing in my way (chicago traffic is a killer!).
