i am a huge fan of dianna's.  such glamour, beauty, and skill on a show that doesn't always know what to do with her character.  with the right movie choices, i think she could have an incredible (and long) career.  i'm definitely cheering her on.

oh my goodness, i cannot believe it has taken me this long to share debbie reynold's phenomenal collection of hollywood costumes and artifacts.  or at least it used to be hers, because after amassing this collection over decades, she - gasp - auctioned them off back in june!  i don't know what prompted her to do so, because these pieces are fabulous.  i included some of my favorites below, but check out the full catalog here.

today i am grateful for:  

well i spent most of the latter part of the week on the couch with a cold, BUT that did allow me lots of relaxation and time to catch-up on the new tv shows.  so that's something :) oh and i finally made it to the randolph street market for some antique/vintage hunting!

after my pushing daisies binge over the weekend, i just had to share probably my all-time favorite quote from the series with you all. every time i read it i get a warm sorta feeling in my tum...because it reminds me of c...and c tends to leave me a little mushy gushy...oh gosh ok on to the quote!

the emmys: red carpet 2011.

i'm going to stream-line this puppy a little bit this year.  the trouble is, i didn't think there were a lot of stand-outs in either best or worst dressed at this year's emmys.  i'm also feeling a little generous after kyle chandler's surprise win for the final season of friday night lights (i might have yelped, and then burst into tears, when his name was called.  coach taylor just does that to a girl.), so let's just go through some of my favorites of the night this year...

alright fine, a quick list of the least favorites.  numero uno: gwyneth (how did she find a dress that makes her stomach look like it's bulging over?!  also, it's not the late 90s - no bare midriffs please), olivia munn (too tight and lumpy, which is weird, cause she has a great body?!), paz de le huerta (shocking), heidi klum (cancan girl), julie bowen (too skinny; too much skin), katie holmes (too casual).
