like a week before blogger blitz chicago on july 15, i suddenly realized i didn't have a blog calling card to pass out, so i made quick work of making some up.
{i started with ordering a couple of personalized stamps from rubberstamps.net. it was quick and relatively cheap - and you just upload the images you create. i downloaded the respective font for free for the script and used alexandria for the blog contact details.}
{the stamps came out beautifully, far better than i was expecting even!}
{my supplies: stamps, ink, twine + black cardstock}
{cutting 3.5" x 2.5" tags}
{cut the corners off .5" down}
{hole punch each}
{and start the stamping! when you stamp, make sure you try several on scrap paper until
you get the hang of your stamp; each has its own quirks}
{waited until the front side dried, then stamped the other}
{finished product}
very happy with how they turned out! next time, i'll try not to wait until the very last minute to throw these together ;)

ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteomg these are amazing. i love them! x
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this idea! That is a calling card I would like to get at a cocktail party! :)
ReplyDeleteThese do not look last-minute or homemade at all. I love rubber stamps and embossing and all things related. I did all my wedding programs by hand this way and got so many compliments!
ReplyDeleteI am a little perplexed why I didn't get one of your cards at the Blogger Blitz! Perhaps we'll need to plan another meetup soon with everyone.
These turned out amazing!! I have been wanting to get new business cards, so I may just have to do something similar! Thank you for the great idea!
