now that it's july i'm allowed to get as excited as i want about the 2012 olympics coming up at the end of the month (or so i tell myself). i've been sitting on these beauties for over a month and finally sharing: liberty of london silk scarves to commemorate this summer's games.
from the description:
inspired by the clock face of london’s iconic ‘big ben’, the exclusive design reflects the 5 rings of the olympic flag. listed around the border are the cities that have hosted olympic games since the first modern olympics in athens, 1896. the colour palette reflects the traditional prize giving of gold, silver and bronze medallions, the classic colours of the 5 olympic rings – red, green, blue, black, yellow and a modern ‘fashion interpretation.'
between the exchange rate and the shipping, i'll have to stick to ogling these from across the pond, but gorgeous, no?
