i like to use monday as a way to reflect on the previous week, to start
anew, and to send a little love into the world. won't you join me?
today i am grateful for:
besides going too fast, this weekend was stellar - got a ton done, got to sleep in, got to the gym both days, got to catch-up with girlfriends. am in a happy place as another week begins.

pictures worth a thousand words:
{my main weekend project: sis's table numbers! i'll do a little tutorial after the wedding so you can see how it came together on the day}
{amazing sweet corn from the green city market}
{spruced up the bar with mrs. lilien's cocktail matchbook, it's adorable}
{my left-handedness is the bane of my calligraphy learning - so hard to not go thru the wet ink!}
{start line of the 100m dash, my heart was pounding so hard. and i cannot WAIT for both
the mens' and women's 4x100 m relays - should be absolute epic jamaica vs. usa showdowns}
this week's blog love:
- home celebrates the olympics with some hugs of gold!
- a really helpful explanation on focal length on centsational girl.
- liz of sequins & stripes celebrated her one year blogoversary with a little look-back and some nice words on going forward.
- i'm grateful to miss b of besotted brand blog for rounding up all the resources you need to turn your handwriting into a font!
- elements of style introduces us to the fall 2012 pantone color combos with some spot-on outfit to room pairings.

I love that you're learning and practicing calligraphy! I remember having a how-to book when I was younger... perhaps I should have stuck with it!
