November can be a hard month to get through, ya know? The best month of the year is over (October), and the second best (December) isn't here yet (I realize this is subjective). Plus we have to wait until the very end of the month for Thanksgiving. So there November sits in the middle. Getting colder, windier, rainier. I've painted quite a depressing picture, haven't I? I think Neil Gaiman's short story on the subject sums it up nicely:
But I'm lucky to have great stuff to look forward to this month, like one of my best friend's weddings next weekend. And this weekend? Well I don't have to travel anywhere, and I get to sleep in. That's pretty great too.
Have a wonderful weekend.

November: "I like your stories. Mine are always too dark."
"I don't think so," said October. "It's just that your nights are longer. And you aren't as warm."
Have a wonderful weekend.
